after he collected crates of jars of salt water, each crate containing a batch of a different salt content, the look of which he (mistakenly) attributed to a melancholic state of differing intensity (for some reason he thought the slatier the water, the less happy it was)

Anyways he'd held off for a long time labelling what he thought was the saltiest batch of these until this night when the batch he's crated up that day was in his mind undoubtedly the saltiest (and thus in his twisted logic, the least chipper) of them all
