I'm thinking of having a big career shift. I've worked as a buyer or merchandiser the past 8 years or so but got made redundant at the start of the year. There is no jobs in my field out there at all, plus I didn't really like it anyway. I've been looking into some of these courses you can do the theory from home and then do the practical on their premises. Just wondered if anyones done one and their oppinions? Also if you are an electrician is there much work out there?? Any help appreciated! Although I get the idea most people on here are office workers/students...
