No, its not a masterpiece, but it is damn good, gross-out-fun with its tongue so far in its cheek, its poking out the other side with a rotting eyeball on the end of it. The shocks/jolts were well timed, its very funny whilst being played totally straight, the shadowy demon apparition is genuinely creepy and (to quote The Guardian) it has a "satisfyingly nasty ending". All in all, its a real hoot from top to bottom. Whether it'll be spoilt by a crappy sequel remains to be seen 8/10.
