I'm doing a 'study abroad' in warsaw for 4 months in September.

The fact that this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMNYvUP3JLo) is the first thing that comes up when you google 'erasmus warsaw' has made me slightly nervous.

Are there any dis-ers who have experience of warsaw (or erasmus) who can offer me some accommodation-finding, friend-making, or general, advice.

I had a romantic vision of getting a room with people who aren't in 'Milf Productions'. Maybe in Praga. Maybe we'd go to some gigs or something. Maybe they'd be polish.

Is this too much to ask??
