So i've been planning on doing this for a while now and just heard back from the venue. They're asking for £150 to hire the room and cover all sound expenses (PA etc) on a Thursday night.

This seems quite steep to me, but i've never done anything like this before so i can't be sure. The venue holds maybe 80 people and is pretty cool, but they rarely have much outside of local bands play there.

So what say you, DiS? Is he having a giraffe or what?
