drummers breaking things... (bad news-centric)

Captain-Lex [Edit] [Delete] 12:36, 9 June '09

My bands drummer has just broken his leg BADLY at our rehearsal studio and is going to be out of action for about 6 months. The worst bit is we were told that he may not ever have the same mobility in his ankle again! He's pretty devastated.

There's a whole load of moral questions to fathom here!

Do we cancel al our shows and wait for him to get better?

Do we get a stand-in drummer until he's well enough to play again? At the risk of hurting his feelings, this band is the only reason he's living in London and knowing we're carrying on without him would be pretty rough. Like getting a stand-in girlfriend.

Should we sue the studio? It was their fault but we like the place and want to continue playing there.

What do you think? Considering you have no idea who I am. I'm friendly though. Talk to me :)
