Hello. I've never had to deal with one of these before, usually it's been a case of going to the letting agents, telling them you want a place, them saying 'okay, as long as your references check out', then you signing stuff and it's all gravy.

I have to get three references. Anything I should be aware of? How long does this sort of thing usually take?
