ok so in the last 3 months one laptop has broken down on me, the new laptop i bought was then destroyed by viruses causing me to reset teh thing, and now..my external hard drive seems to have bitten the dust.
it turns on at first, makes some whirring noises and then just switches off again. the only thing i can think could be wrong is taht i unplugged it without doing the disconnect thing, which i didn't think was that big a deal. any way of fixing it or recovering my files?? fuck this anyway technology is retarded
