.......in 1998 didn't happen - rumour went round the local pubs that on the wednesday of 'glasto' they'd play at Bath Moles - my friends and I pitched our tent at the festival and then bundled into a car to get to Moles having spread the word to a few other people. Got to Moles at about midnight and enjoyed along with a packed room of Britpop types pretty much a two hour change jangling evening of 'soul funk', though I did get the chance to urinate next to both Louis from Rialto and Jake Shillingford who had both been told the same by now clearly bullshit rumour that Blur were playing Bath Moles.
