Write a really eloquent and/or witty email and once you've sent it, keep going back (several times) to it to re-read cos you've impressed yourself?!

I was even tempted to send it on to a few people at random just for some plaudits, though it would have made no sense to them whatsoever. Still tempted. And it's not even that good.
