at roughly this time las week I posted a thread entitled "it's just a cruel joke isn't it". The gist of which was that a girl at work I'd been out with a few times had told me she was lesbian.
I like this girl a lot and had spent a lot of time stressing over the fact she'd told us she had a boyfriend. I was so happy when she said they'd broken up.
I've spent all week in a horrible mood. Beyond the normal of finding out someone you like doesn't feel the same way back, I felt a bit stupid, confused and angry about her being a bit deceitful. I've pretty much been as civil as work demands to her all week.
This evening it dawned on me that she's only 23, is in a new city in a new job and that i've been acting like a twat.
I need to take her for a drink and apologise but I feel so much better for the realisation.
