What a fucking annoying game.

It panned out exactly like I predicted before the match – the Lions backs were far superior to the Saffas, but the forwards - at least for the first three quarters - weren’t up to it.

Even so, despite Phil Vickery being bum-raped in public for the best part of an hour and the number of penalties conceded, in a parallel universe the Lions could have won that game by double figures. Crossing the line 6 times and losing is far more annoying than getting a proper pasting.

Still, Lions by 10 next week.
