So I'm going travelling across Europe for three weeks from 11/07 til 31/07.

My basic plan is to start out with a flight to Pisa in Italy, then work my way up to Oslo in Norway. Got a basic route of hitting countries like;

Italy
Switzerland
France
Germany
Belgium
Amsterdam
Denmark
Sweden
Norway

But has anyone else got anywhere they've been that's been wicked? I want to just wander around the towns with my iPod on and meet the people and drink the beer and eat the food and see the sights. Very little (or no) history or tourist hot-spots please.
