A friend of mine carries a handkerchief about his persons on hot days, dabbing at the sweaty build-up upon his brow as and when necessary. He is a gentleman of North African descent and carries this look off well - think preppy nonchalance with a practical twist.

I am white and from Hampshire. Can i get away with this...? If I go for it, will I look like I'm being 'ironic', trying to be Ironik or announcing myself a hideously sweaty mess?
