He’s been turning up to a lot of things recently. The problem is, I don’t like calling anyone A-Rock, particularly people I don’t know very well. My friend, who only met him 3 weeks ago when he started his new job, doesn’t even know his real name so prevalent is the use of his nickname. I feel like Larry David saying to ‘Krazy Eyez Killa’ - it just doesn’t roll off the tongue well.

Someone at work heard me listing the people who were turning up for a drink yesterday when I was on the phone to a friend and started giving me shit for being an A-Rock-nicknaming type of guy. It’s not right I tell you, being forced to accept someone else’s nickname on their terms.
