hey DiS, long time lurker, first time poster:

basically im going for a 10 day trip around europe on interrail in august with a mate, but was considering spending longer maybe going round scandinavia. however that means going alone, as he cant go for too long. does anyone have experience traveling alone? whats it like?

also any suggestions for must-see places in europe, you seem like a worldly lot.
