Watch anything good on TV last night? I watched South Park, We Are Klang & Wallander.

South Park

I watched it ON my TV, but technically it was a DVD. It was the Cartoon Wars double parter. Rather good as I despise Family Guy for many of the reasons mentioned in that first episode. Not a classic South Park otherwise, but the fight homage to FG was superb.

We Are Klang

I loved them live when I saw them a year ago but I feared this show would be a disaster. It kind of was, but with hints of what makes them really funny in the flesh. 3 of the stronger scenes were cut down versions of their sketches but without the pay offs rather annoyingly (like the horse gradually being asked to do more and more difficult dances until he collapses). The interaction with the crowd was amusing, and I liked the whole 1970's sitcom-quaintness of it all, but it felt very much like a missed opportunity.

Wallander (Swedish version)

Brilliant stuff. The third one I've watched now. Just so subtly handled and gradual. I liked the Brannagh version but this is so much better. Never really any big twists or turns, just a cop solving a crime bit by bit whilst people live their lives around the events.

You?
