It's the indie High School Musical, and it's quite good.
There's a shot of a Belle & Sebastian album in the first 30 seconds, it features discussion of Arcade Fire and Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth get a mention, and there's a hilarious bit where the main character breaks into CBGBs and explains to Vanessa Hudgens how, without the Ramones and the New York Dolls, there'd be no U2 or even Killers.
