ever mispronounced something for so long and then discovered your mistake?

i must say i'm tempted just to continue with Yantch, i'd sort of grown accustomed to it over 20 years.

the clothing company WESC, which i have called "wesk" for a number of years is actually called "wee ess cee", how are you supposed to just know these things?

i've been calling J Mascis "jay mass kiss" ever since i can remember, no doubt that's wrong too.

and how about fugazi? guy piciotto? why don't we just have phonetic spelling and be done with it?
