I went to my first proper Muslim wedding today. It wasn't particularly religious, but the weirdest part of the experience was NO DRINK. And because everyone that the bride/groom know has to be invited, AND everyone takes photos, there are extended photo sessions. In fact,most of the wedding revolves around people taking photos and posing with the bride and groom. And eventually eating. It was strange, as there are a lot of people that are just along for the food/wandering around confused.

Highlights were a very fat boy, aged maybe 4/5, dressed as a girl by his mother in mismatched girls' clothes that were way too small for him. Unless it was a fat girl, but it was almost definitely a boy.

Plus sitting in a 'limo' for an extended journey, me hoping no-one will throw KFC at it, with seven people in religious wear, listening to Justin Timberlake and Nelly.
