Strange place. In Brum for the weekend and ended up in there last night very much against my better judgement.

Given the name and the decor and all those roaming the streets nearby, was expecting something truly chavtastic. Instead, pretty friendly place, lots of well-dressed young kids enjoying themselves and reasonably good music too.

Admittedly, the place was absolutely rammed and the gents toilet smelled worse than death, but overall I was pleasantly surprised. Did we get lucky or is having incredibly low expectations just the key to happiness in all endeavours?
