I started reading this yesterday and now I'm approaching the final stretch of the book, I have some questions:

1) This is shit, isn't it?
2) This protagonist is the biggest asshole in the universe, isn't he?
3) All Afghans (except for a boy named Hassan) are douches, aren't they?
4) This author really loves his massive retarded coincidences, doesn't he?
5) The one ending this book should have - the main character and everyone he cares about are flattened by a USAF bomb just as he's about to complete his quest - won't occur, will it?
