Hiya, can anyone give any tips for writing a script for a short film? The plot is about four ten year olds, who are in their summer holidays, and due to their growing ‘urges’, one of the members crush on a local girl and peer pressure they set upon stealing a porn magazine from a local corner shop.

One of the members, the 'cry baby' of the group, gets caught from an ‘on the beat bobby’ and taken to his parents. The others run away from home to the woods and begin to fight over whether to go back home or not, and who is to hold the magazine due to distrust of the others.

In the end, the parents know where they’re hiding as the ‘cry baby’ member of the group tells them about their den in the woods, and their parents find them and the kids are forced to go home.

I’ve already thought out a soundtrack which has some Harry Nilsson, Le Tigre, The Smiths, El Guincho, Grandmaster Flash, N.W.A. and 5.6.7.8’s. But it’s the dialogue I’m useless at, so any tips on that would be appreciated – bare in mind they have sound like ten year olds, not twenty eight year olds. Also, if I join a film society at university will they allow me to borrow filming equipment?
