I'm going to Paris in October with my ladyfriend.
Has anyone got any recommendations on any stuff to see or places to visit? (Apart from the obvious ones. The catacombs sound pretty MetaL though.)
Also- is it worth getting a hotel near to the centre? I hear the metro system is pretty good though.
