You know the sorts - every detail of everything their child has done as if they are the first to have done it vs "I can't venture out at weekends, Fluffykins gets so lonely and irritable if we don't stay in and watch Bridget Jones together before cuddling up to do the Telegraph crossword with a cup of darjeeling".
