He was British, used to play for Middlesbrough in the late 90's and first part of this decade as a striker (though you wouldn't have guessed it), and before that Coventry (I think). Allegedly one of the star players at Middlesbrough begged Robson to let him pay off the remained of this mopes contract so that he never had to play with him again. It's on the tip of my tongue and I can't think who it was. It's driving me mad. Help a fellow out.
