What to do? (Facebook lunatic-centric)

PreludesNocturnes [Edit] [Delete] 16:46, 6 September '09

For just under a year now, a chap I lived in the same Halls as in first year (2003 - 4) has been sending me short (a sentence or less) abuse via Facebook message. We're not FB friends, I haven't seen him since moving out of halls and even when I was there I can't have spoken to him more than five times. He was pretty introverted and didn't have any friends that I could see, and as a result, some weird rumours went around about him. I half suspect that he thinks I'm someone else of similar appearance with the same first name, who may have had more dealings with him (but I doubt it).

Usually the messages would come a couple of weeks apart, late on a Friday or Saturday. I've never replied to any of them. However, since yesterday afternoon he's sent me TWELVE bizarre messages.

I'm starting to worry - do you think he needs help?

Shall I:

a) Keep ignoring him.
b) Report him to Facebook
c) Message a couple of his FB friends to see if they see him the real world (the only two mutual friends we have don't know him very well or see him) and find out if he's, y'know, alright.

Get to work Braintrust...
