I really enjoyed it. I think the director/writer etc did a great job with the back story, managing to explain it all pretty quickly and as comprehensively as you could hope and the switch between the 'mockumentary' style of the first 30 minutes or so to a more typical film narrative was pretty seemless. It wasn't exactly a subtle film but given the analogy it was going for it could have been much more like a brick to the small of the back than it was.

Really well acted and scripted with some pretty cool effects too. I want a big robot thing I can step into and shoot stuff with.
