Last week i arranged to meet up with someone who i've been quite good friends with for a number of years, but over the last few days i've begun to realise that this meeting may not be entirely platonic and i don't know how to get out of it without sounding rude. i do really like him, i was looking forward to seeing him, but i don't want to meet up with him and have him think we're there for the same thing.

What does one do?
