so does being a student mean you have to tolerate this kind of shit without question?

I sleep directly above the living room and its 2am and I haven't slept properly in a long time and I've been subject to the most brutal bass/people singing/stamping of feet attack. And a really dirty look when I asked them to turn it down. The music is fucking awful and some of them are wearing dungarees.

so do you just ride this shit out and bottle it up, and the post about it on the internet? Asking them to turn it down hasn't yielded results. Maybe I could just start drinking every night. Or buy a weapon.
