I have aquired a new laptop. I need to transfer all my documents, music, pictures and general files from the old laptop to the new. Can I upload them onto an extrernal hard drive and them download onto the new one? Is there also a program for me to just download my music off my ipod onto my new itunes (although I would have to do this in several batches)?

Any advice?
