what's the worst female love interest stereotype to use in a 'white youth wondering what life is all about' film

michael_w [Edit] [Delete] 17:21, 14 September '09

a) the kooky/ice cool straight talker who will open the young lad's eyes and show him the truth in a world of bullshit

b) the slightly damaged lass who our young hero can save...slightly

c) the ideal girl....someone who has appeared as if from his dreams

d) the deliberatly antithesis girl/woman. old to his young....poor to his rich....good looking to his ugly....ugly to his good looking.

e) all of the above

sometimes i daydream about writing a film like this because i'm not working class or black or northern or a woman and it's pretty much all i've got (thank god though, right?)

but then i always stumble when it comes to imagining a credible female protagonist

so.....

what characters do you think have been credible/shit female leads in this sub-genre

if you could imagine a cliche free female protagonist for our young lad to fall for, what would she be like?
