I was out on Saturday night and chatting to a guy who was bitching about working at the new Jamie Oliver restaurant in Canary Wharf. In his first few days he had to work 13-14 hour shifts without a break. Pretty harsh. Anyway, he seemed like quite an amiable bloke; after 10 hours he said 'I realise it's hectic here and you don't really have time to give me a proper break, but could I possibly pop outside just for a few minutes for a cigarette?'.
He was told 'no'. When he questioned why, the response was 'because we love Jamie'.

Fucking hell - that's not very pukka is it!
