Masterchef

It was an hour long so I'm a bit sketchy on the details.

I'll start with the second half, obviously, where Bamos displayed a real case of nerves in turning his artichoke and cooking a steak, LordLuciousBanter was marginally better and they liked his steak sauce. Only one fella knew how to correctly turn an artichoke and he got through, some of the sauces they made looked shocking but apparently tasted nice. Some bloke got the boot.

Onto the next round and they had to make two dishes for My Bell from a sea bass, which was a bit too much like the previous nights effort. Bamos got his confidence back and made two decent looking dishes, LLB displayed his ability as a fusion cook (translation - I've been travelling a bit) which went down well and the chubby artichoke fella made his own Nicoise which got a good reception.

Onto the classics which involved some tricky egg ravioli thing and some poached pear effort. LLB got too cocky and messed up his egg ravioli whilst Bamos and chubby fella done pretty well, in the end chubby fella won as he made a lovely little pattern round his pear.

Can someone else comment on the first bit of the programme please.

Cheers
