Photographer dudes and dudettes: help required

tomatron [Edit] [Delete] 11:52, 16 September '09

Yo. My dad gave me an SLR camera (not digital) because he was getting a new one (digital). It's at my girlfriend's so I can't give any specifications and crap, but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for online guides etc for how to get started with all the different bits and pieces? Once I've moved back up to Scotland I want to try to do more nature photography and stuff, plus taking good pics when I go to interesting places.

Is it worth taking a night class or something if I can spare the time and money?

Am I going to get really annoyed by having to take my films in for processing and stuff? What's the best place for getting that done, considering I'll probably want copies on a CD as well as / instead of hard copies?

THANKS
