Since uploading the new Itunes 9 my computer is utterly fucked. Itunes crashes as soon as you introduce any kind of CD to it, be it in the internal computer drive, or the external one.

And I'm not the only one - "I just installed iTunes 9 over 8.2.1 on my 32-bit Vista machine. After rebooting, iTunes starts up, reads the library, shows the library, and crashes. Vista says that the fault module name is WebKit.dll. I've tried switching to XP compatibility mode, but it doesn't make a difference. Any suggestions on what to try next? " is taken from the Itunes discussion forums, together with lots of other cries for help.

I've tried uninstalling, re-installing, installing an earlier version of itunes and nothing fucking works.

Any suggestions? (Short of putting my boot on Steve Jobs cancerous throat?)
