It's happened twice today at work. Neither of them are skinny, and one blatantly knows it and generally just adores attention. So I wouldn't compliment her anyway as she's looking for it.

But the other is normal size, not stick thin and by no means overweight. She just made a comment when we were talking about how much I eat out of the blue like 'I mean, I'm not fat or thin really am I?'

I had literally no idea what to say. Pouring love on someone ain't my bag, but conversely I'd never be cruel / honest if someone genuinely was a porker.

So I just kind of mumbled into my lukewarm tea and made a comment about hating Jack Johnson.

Anyone else struggle with this dilemma?
