The tenants downstairs are supposed to be a business bloke and his mother.

This weekend two teenage girls and their mates have descended and our once quiet living room is now alive with the thump/thump of shit music (house I suspect). They've also been smoking dope in the garden which makes the kitchen stink, but that's beside the point. We've already been downstairs once to ask them to turn it down, but to no avail.

What's the etiquette here? Do I go downstairs and ask them to knock it off? Ring the council? Call the rozzers? Leave a note? Tell the letting agent it's not a granny living there?

I'm in danger of turning into an old bloke I know, but I cannot be doing with this shit anymore.
