Freelancers that use the dole like it's holiday pay

countzero [Edit] [Delete] 18:35, 7 October '09

Now, don't get me wrong. I understand that in certain creative fields job stability is non existent and many people work on project then have to go on the dole while they look for other work?

But surely this process has to be with the aim of attaining a point in your career where the dole should be considered a contingency, and not a permanent feature in your career?

But it seems to be that the freelance writers, producers, artists et al that I have come across tend to intentionally line up a a few jobs a year and treat the benefits system as their own holiday periods payed for by the tax payer.

And yet these cunts can often be found judging and taking the piss out of the sorry fuckers on Benefits Busters.

Another example of middle class hypocrisy when it comes to state benefits
