i am making some mix cds
i am sending a package to my sister in japan, who is apparently 'desperate for new music'
i have some questions:

1. what light non mix-cd things would you send to japan? what might someone miss from the homeland that wont get ruined in transit?

2. my sister loves britney, pop music in general but also got me into blur, eels (she only has one cd tho) and green day. she has mostly good taste but doesn't seek music out etc, she's more of a normals person, goes to gis v. rarely etc. WHAT CURRENT STUFF IS ACE? what should i include on her cd? if you have rly good songs that i dont have and you'd be willing to give me we can totes add on msn and you can send me (un)said songs

i've already got quite a few lined up for her cos she's relatively easy but im pretty sure i'll miss things that should be on there....

3. which thermals song would you introdce someone to the thermals with? (nb. this isn't for my sis cd)
