Does anyone else find it a bit weird that the bbc website has stories that are basically press releases for pop stars?

First there were some things about robbie williams comeback, then a piece about alexandra burke's fringe and new single, and now there's a whole front-page dedicated to cheryl cole. It's a featured story on the news site, am i just being a mega-serious boreotron?

Actually, while i'm having a go at the bbc - has anyone seen that Heir Hunters programme too? What a load of shit.
