Cinema thread

DanielKelly [Edit] [Delete] 11:44, 2 November '09

Last week, I went to the cinema three times. I saw the following films.

Up- It was good. The growing-old montage bit didn't quite manage to melt my ice heart but it was the closest anything has come in a while. The short beforehand was probably the best Pixar have done.

9- It was also good. It was reasonably dark and bleak but didn't lend itself to Camden fuax-goth chic quite as much as I was expecting. The story was a little thin given the short running time but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Jennifer's Body- It was meh. The dialouge was nowhere near as awful as Juno but Diablo whatsherface should still just abandon writing conversations. One character describing another as 'salty' 4 minutes into the film confirmed my fears. The guy who was in the OC was excellent in it though.

I am also displeased at Cineworld for not carrying Thirst and for only showing An American Werewolf in London in absurd places last Friday.

What have you seen recently?
