A guy at work was whinging that he's spent £35 on COD: MW2 today, and it got me thinking. Didn't we used to pay about £40 for rubbish old NES games?

So what games did you spend loads on?

I remember these extravagances:

Time Crisis + GCon45 lightgun - £80 (though I did play it for 3 years solid)
FFVIII - £44.99
Tekken 2 (never bought it) - but it was £49.99 on release day
WipEout 2097 - £39.99
Zelda 64 - £49.99

Any others? I guess Rock Band would be up there had I been stupid enough to purchase it...
