Children in Need: A cause for good? Or a one-sided, state-funded charity that sucks money from other charities?

mymiddlenameaintthor [Edit] [Delete] 08:18, 20 November '09

Surely it's about time for the BBC to stop it's annual support of Children in Need and start a process of yearly rotating charity fundraising. Children in Need raised £20m on the night last year and I think closer to £40m for the year. Whil it obviously does good work, who chose this charity and why don't others get a look in?

They could even make a series out of it, get the public to vote on which charity to choose this year a la Strictly Come Dancing or X-Factor.

Discuss the tits of that.
