Is it safe to leave your flat to council construction workers?

countzero [Edit] [Delete] 10:41, 24 November '09

They were due to come on a Wednesday with advance notice so I could take a half day off work. Instead this moring they anounced that they are starting today and barged in hte moment I entered the door.

I couldn't get the day off work so I had to leave them to it...I couldn't even get my work clothes on as my wardrobe was in the work area.

Now I'm at work with my pyjamas still on with a jumper on top and suit trousers.

They covered all my stuff up and I don't think there is anything worth nicking.

And if they did break something while I was there there isn't much I can do about it there and then is there? And there isn't any room to stand in the flat while they are working anyway.

So it's safe yeh?
