so i just watched dogville for the second time. such an incredible film. first time i saw it was in a cinema and had no idea what it would be. 3 hours later i was admittedly pretty bored & glad it was coming to an end though i probably wasnt in the right mindset at all. it massively left an impression on me to the point where i had to research it / tell everyone about it, etc etc. Second viewing tonight thought it was incredible. Probably one of the most well-crafted films i've ever seen. Quite similar experience to how i watch Lynch films really.

Going to watch Manderlay tomorrow though i hear its not quite as good. Bryce Dallas Howard's amazing though.

Does anyone know what's happening with Was(h?)ington now? I remember reading it was abandoned indefinitely though now i cant seem to find anything about it beyond von trier taking a break from writing it.

The only other Von Trier i've seen was Antichrist. where next?
