How big would an asteroid have to be to knock the Earth out of orbit, if only slightly?
Inspired by the 2012 discussion, I just watched a terrifying video on youtube of a moon-sized meteor (the so-called Doomsday Rock/2012 meteor) hitting the Earth.
The universe is awesome in the true sense of the word.
