just got back from work and bad things have happened to my laptop screen.

in the middle near the top there's a dark splodge. underneath there is a big patch which is constantly white. to the right hand side there is a big bit which is all lines. there's a big patch on the left hand side which is fine, and when i do a screenshot and paste it into paint every bit of the screen can be seen (by scrolling around), so it's defo a problem with the screen.

does anyone have any idea what could've caused this and how the hell i can repair it/ how much it's likely to cost ?
