Music Social More…

hey you classy people - what are you reading?

soapy [Edit] [Delete] 13:26, 14 December '09

I'm busy with Henry Rollins' First Five.
Lots of *dark* angsty ridden poetry, lyrics and the occasional amusing diary entry from the mid-to-late 80s.

I've just finished Richard Yates' Disturbing the Peace. Started fairly poorly (the lead guy was initially just Frank from Revolutionary Road all over again) but it picked up and the quality of his writing really pulled it through into a good read. I'd still recommend leaving it until you'd read his more celebrated work though.
