Feeling remorse after being rude over the phone

dash_and_blast [Edit] [Delete] 15:49, 21 December '09

I feel a bit bad, i called up the management company about getting a replacement key for my postbox. After dicking me around for a bit they told me it was actually my responsibility and i need to get a locksmith. Fair enough but the girl spent ages explaining to me how one goes about getting a locksmith and even being so helpful as to suggest where the key could be (*patronising tone* "have you checked under the sofa?" etc) So i told her quite rudely i know how to find a fucking locksmith and no the keys aren’t under the sofa and hung up. I feel pretty bad, looking back she was only trying to help even if she was incredibly patronising. In light of recent do-gooding threads (returning accidentally pilfered red-peppers to tesco etc) do you think i should call back and apologise. Im stuck in work with not much else to do and i dont want her putting notes on my file saying that im a bit of a prick (like i sometimes do with my clients.)
